Clay Testing

Soil samples can be taken and tested at an independent laboratory for various analysis to assist with foundation design and subsidence investigations. The testing can be done in the following ways:

• Moisture content profiles
• Plasticity testing to determine clay shrinkage potential
• Suction testing to calculate heave potential
• Triaxial testing to obtain shear strength parameters
