The client had specified a modular structure to be used as a temporary library.
When looking at the foundations, a traditional foundation was cost prohibitive due
to the depth of the trenches. As the structure was on the grounds of a school,
disruption had to be kept to a minimum.
The Solution
12 RootBase S-Range bases were installed in 2 days, giving 45m2 of foundations
down to a depth of 2m. The foundations are fully reusable & can be removed easily
once the building reaches the end of its use.
