The house needed to be adapted to accommodate a downstairs bedroom, wet room & level
access for use of a wheelchair. Most of the work would be carried out at the rear of the
property. The ground conditions were surveyed & Building Control noted that the property
contained a boundary to a gravel pit. The extension would need to be piled.
The Solution
A 52m2 QuickBase was installed in 5 days, with 35 piles down to a depth of 2m-7m. The
work was completed on time, in full, to the client’s satisfaction. Similar projects have since
been quoted for & are progressing.
